Upskilling the workforce utilizing funds in the Apprenticeship Levy

Congratulations to Ian Thornhill, Operations Manager (RDF & SCPV) on successfully completing and achieving a distinction Level 5 Operations Manager Apprenticeship.

In conjunction with this apprenticeship, Ian also achieved Chartered Member accreditation of the Chartered Management Institute (CMI).

Ian commenced with Clarke Chapman Facilities Management Limited in June 2017 as SCPV Operations Manager at the CCFM, Beeston Depot.  Ian was keen from the start of his employment to get a formal qualification in his specialist field as a Manager (Ian already held a BSc (Hons) Degree in Geology, and the Company were keen to invest in Ian’s future and development.

Whilst Ian studied the above qualification, he was promoted to Operations Manager (RDF & SCPV), which filled a key skills gap in the business at the time, as well as recognizing Ian’s potential to develop further.
