Clarke Chapman Services (CCS) recently completed the refurbishment of a Ships Loader at Clydeports Hunterston Coal Terminal.
The Ships Loader was damaged during the recent high winds - CCS engineers immediately attended the site to stabilize the loader and to assess the extent of the damage.
The refubishment undertaken included major structural replacement which included jacking the main support beams back to their correct position and
the manufacture and installation of new conveyors.
Following these extensive repairs and the recommissioning, the Loader has been returned to service and is operating satisfactorily to maximum capacity.
