Pump Repair Process
Our transport will collect the pump from site and return to our workshop facility.
The pump is ‘Booked In’ by our stores staff, and allocated a Contract Number by our office staff.
Cleaning & Stripping
The pump is cleaned externally and then disassembled in our ‘Stripping’ area inside our workshop.
Inspection & Quotation
The pump is then inspected by our Engineers, measurements are taken and a detailed quote with digital images is issued to the customer.
Upon acceptance from the customer, the pump is then cleaned internally. Necessary parts for the repair are ordered.
If a coating is required, the pump machined faces are masked off, shot blasted and prepared
for the performance coating see photos.
material is ordered and sent into our machine shop, where it is
machined to our manufacturing drawings, to ensure components have the
necessary internal tolerances required within the pump.
The pump is built by our time served fitters in our assembly area.
The pump is performance tested in our test area. Figures taken and a test curve produced.
Once tested and the certificate is signed off by management, the pump is painted.

The unit then has an Identification Plate riveted to its case and the unit undergoes ‘Final Inspection’ by our team leader.
The Pump is delivered back to the customer’s site.
If required, our qualified / safety passport personnel can install the unit at the customer’s site/plant.
